Question: How to enable the on-line help system in RADview-HPOV?

Answer: In order to use the on-line help system included in RADview-HPOV:

1. If Netscape is installed locally, have it in the path.

2. If Netscape is installed on a network drive, or some other browser

is used, set the MNG164_BROWSER variable to the location of

the browser.

Question: What does the "ERROR: File /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/oid_to_sym"

message mean?

Answer: When uninstalling RADview-HPOV, using the mng164_uninstall.csh

script, the following HPOV file is not updated

/etc/opt/OV/share/conf/oid_to_sym

This file includes information about all the products previously

installed.

Upon the next start of OVW, the system will look for installed

products, according to the oid_to_sym file. The error message is a

result of the mismatch.

To solve the problem, edit the oid_to_sym file, and delete from it all

the lines for which you get error messages.

2.7 Uninstalling RADview-HPOV

If RADview does not run after the installation procedure, a possible cause is that

components of the system were not installed correctly or were installed in an

incorrect sequence. In such a case, uninstall RADview using the following

procedure:

1. Log in as su.

2. Type: csh.

3. Type: source /opt/OV/bin/ov.envvars.csh

4. Type: source /opt/MNG/MNGVIEWHP/bin/mng164_uninstall.csh
