A.2 LA-110 MD Module and Port Status

Operational status for each physical module and port is indicated by the frame

color of the module (as shown in the 5620 Shelf View) and port itself (as shown in

the LA-110 Draw), based both on polling and notifications of interfaces

operational status.

When the frame color of the port is:

• Red: it indicates that the operational status is down. (There are failures on the

port.)

• Green (Gray in 5620): it indicates that the operational status is up (ready to

pass packets). The port is OK and no tests are running on it.

• Purple: it indicates that the operational status is unknown, and/or a loopback

test.
