³ To map the QoS (Per Port):
1. Navigate to the Mapping dialog as explained above.
2. Select the desired bridge port and assign the desired traffic class (0–3) by
clicking <Traffic Class> and choosing a traffic class to each active bridge port.
Each traffic class can be assigned to more than one active bridge port.
³ To update the mapping dialog
On the relevant QoS Mapping dialog, click <Refresh>.
The Mapping dialog is updated.
Configuring Fault Propagation
When the network > user fault propagation is enabled, the LAN ports are
deactivated when the PCS uplink becomes inactive. The Ethernet ports are re-
activated once the PCS port synchronization is restored.
When the user > network fault propagation is enabled, the PCS uplink is
deactivated when the LAN ports become inactive. The PCS uplink is restored once
the LAN ports are re-activated.
³ To enable the fault propagation:
1. In the LA-210 View window, select the System view.
2. On the menu bar, click Configuration > Fault Propagation.
The Fault Propagation dialog appears.

3. To enable Fault Propagation, check Activation and then click <Set>.
The fault propagation is active.
³ To disable the fault propagation:
1. Navigate to the Fault Propagation dialog as explained above.
2. Clear Activation and then click <Set>.
The fault propagation is inactive.
