Step 3. Obtain IP Settings From Your BLW-04EX

Now that you have configured your computer to connect to you r BLW-

04EX, it needs to obtain new network settings. By releasing old IP settings

and renewing them with settings from the BLW-04EX, you will also verify

that you have configured your computer correctly.

1. On the Windows desktop, click “Start/ Programs/Command Prompt.”

2. In the “Command Prompt” window, type “IPCONFIG / RELEASE” and

press the <ENTER> key.

Netscape

1. Open Netscape. Click “Edit,” then click “Preferences...”

2. In th e “Prefe rences” w indo w, und er “Ca teg ory ” double-click

“Advanced,” then click “Proxies.” Check “Direct connection to the

Internet.” Click “OK.”
